Icepocalyspe 2015: DIY Facemasks !

So if you live in Texas you are well aware of the fact that anytime there is real ice on the roads things shut down. If you are not from Texas you're lucky.because here in Texas you can get a full year of seasons in a week! But here in Texas when the Roads Ice and the world shuts down I turn to my Bucket O' Skincare and basically go ham on my face trying to make it baby butt smooth ! Don't have a Bucket O' Skincare !?! Oh but you do ! Look no further than your fridge and pantry. Lets get real #brokegirlproblems are real and $100 masks and serums are not practical in ones 20's so its always good to have some solid DIY options ! So here are some of my favorite Face Masks and one for your hair to keep nice and hydrated !

 Oatmeal Exfoliator Mask

1/3 cup of Steel Cut Oats
1/3 cup of Water
1 Tablespoon of Honey
1/3 cup of  Chopped Almonds

Chop almonds to desired coarseness depending on how much you'd like to exfoliate, Fine for mild exfoliation and coarse if you really wanna feel it .  Combine all ingredients and apply mask and work into skin in a circular motion. Let dry for ten minutes then rinse off with warm water !

Banana Hydrating Mask

1 Ripe Banana
2 Tablespoon of Honey
1 Teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Mash banana, honey and olive oil together then apply to face and leave for 10 minutes then rinse and go about your day !

Moisturizing Avocado Hair Mask

1/2 Avocado
2 Tablespoons Honey
Combine the two and spread through you hair focusing on the ends leave in for 15-20 minutes. I suggest dancing around your room during that time and grabbing a hairbrush microphone.

Hopefully these will give you something fun to do while your'e trapped in the house !
