Brand: Urban Decay
Year Founded:1996
Founded By: Sandra Lerner and Patricia Holmes
Brand History: Founded in 1996 and launched in 1999 Urban Decay is beauty with an edge, known for its high pigment formulas and tongue in cheek product names like "Yayo" and "Walk of Shame" Urban Decay set out to change the landscape of the beauty world. With humble beginnings of 10 lipsticks and 12 nail polishes Urban Decay has expanded its line of color over the last 15 years adding adding complexion products and my personal favorite the Naked Glosses ( I Love you "Walk of Shame" ! ) while still staying true to their brand and remaining relevant in the beauty market landscape.
Hero Products: Naked Line
4 Years ago The Good Lord and Urban Decay blessed us with the game changer of all Game Changers ...The Naked Palette. Now 4 years later "Naked" has turned from a limited edition palette to a line all its own that includes Color,Complexion and Tools.
Newness: Vice 3 Palette
One thing Urban Decay has ALWAYS done well is a palette and the Vice 3 is no exception. This Palette while staying true the the bright colors that the "Vice" line has been known for this palette definitely has its' focus on more fall friendly brights that you could easily incorporate into a day at work or a night on the town.
Obsessed With: Perversion Mascara + Subversion Primer
This Fall UD has graced us with a new mascara and let me just say that it has me feeling all sorts of Beyonce #DrunkInLove. This mascara and Primer pair are like Bey and Jay , seemingly opposite yet somehow together they basically run the game . But what I love most is that the mascara is that much like Queen Bey it can stand on its own because sometimes you just don't have the time for an extra step. This mascara gives you full lashes without clumping or flakiness plus its the blackest black for all the drama you could ever want.
So what are your favorite Urban Decay Products !?! Let me know in the comments !
